Chlorinated Rubber Paint 

  • Compounded from plasticized Chlorinated Rubber with Titanium Dioxide and other inert pigments
  • Quick drying, with good build up and resists a wide range of acids and alkalis
  • Good weathering properties and a long lasting coating with good toughness

DESIGNED USE:

  • It is recommended as a system for coating on Iron, Steel, Copper, Zinc, Aluminum and masonry
  • It can also be used as internal coating for swimming pools

COVERAGE: 

The theoretical coverage of ROBBIALAC CHLORINATED RUBBER PAINT would be approximately 8 – 10 M² /liter at a Dry film thickness of 50 µ.

*Due consideration must be given to the evenness of the surface and the nature of the substrate.

SURFACE PREPARATIONS:

  • Avoid humid conditions >95% and also dew point of <3% for application
  • The expected life span is directly related to the surface cleanliness and proper application.
  • Ensure that the surface to be painted is free from dust, and other loose flakes that would be detrimental in the proper application
  • Apply base coat of Chlorinated Rubber Primer for through binding of final top coat
  • Finally applying two or more final topcoats as required, giving a gap of eight hours drying time between each coat

*Not suitable for immersed conditions & cannot be coated with 2K, Vinyl & aromatic thinned alkyd systems.

Thinning recommendation:

  • ROBBIALAC INDUSTRIAL THINNER and to the extent of maximum of 5-10% of the paint by volume.
  • Stir well with a convenient mixing equipment for uniformity to ensure good mixing of all the components.

Method of application:

  • By roller/brush and if large areas are to be painted one can use suitable spray application.
  • To keep the brush/roller and spray equipment in good condition for use, clean the same in ROBBIALAC INDUSTRIAL THINNER and dry them immediately after application.
