Antifungal Wash

  • A unique composition of carefully selected Biocides applied to various surfaces that might be otherwise vulnerable to the attack of algae, fungi and other microbes
  • The application of ROBBIALAC ANTIFUNGAL WASH composition helps in eliminating the detrimental effects that are caused by microbes and prolongs the protective power of the ensuing coating layers that follow
  • It is suitable especially for the outdoors and works for over a wide range of climatic conditions

Designed use

Designed Use:

  1. Strongly recommended for long life expectancy of both exterior and interior substrates, for coatings on concrete, cement plaster, masonry, gypsum, block works, especially under moist conditions like air well, vents and dampened walls.
  2. It is recommended as a mandatory coat before the primer coat

Coverage:

  1. The theoretical coverage of ROBBIALAC ANTIFUNGAL WASH is be approximately 10 – 12 M² liter

*Due consideration must be given to the evenness of the surface and the nature of the substrate.

Surface preparation

Surface preparation:

  1. Avoid humid conditions >95% and also dew point of <3% for application
  2. Clean the surface to be applied free from the dust and other moieties that would be detrimental for poor adhesion of the primer
  3. Stir well with a convenient mixing equipment for uniformity to ensure good mixing of all the components
  4. Do not mix with any form of liquid/water and apply as is
  5. In case of a repainting job, clean the surface completely to remove the dirt, loose flakes and friable materials, due to chalking
  6. Dust thoroughly the surface and apply ROBBIALAC ANTIFUNGAL WASH
  7. ROBBIALAC STUCCO PUTTY INTERIOR/EXTERIOR can be applied where surface cracks need to be smoothened
  8. ROBBIALAC ACRYLIC PRIMER UNDERCOAT WHITE can then be applied as a base coat to subsequent water based top coats to provide through binding properties to the substrate

*Do not apply directly on surfaces containing previous coats of emulsion /enamel paint.

Thinning recommendation:

  1. Not required

Method of application:

  1. By brush and if large areas are to be painted one can use suitable spray application
  2. To keep the brush and spray equipment in good condition for use, clean the same in luke warm water and dry them immediately after application
